Welcome to Flagdaddy.co.uk

It all started in 2002 the year of the Queen's Golden Jubilee and the World Cup in Japan when Flagdaddy's wife bought him the Union Jack and the St George's Cross flags.  These proved so popular that St Partick's and St Andrew's  flags were soon added and flagdaddy decided a flagpole was required.  Today his collection numbers 122 flags and is still growing he has flags for countries, islands, states and provinces.  Some flags are historic such the Betsy Ross and the 1603 Union Jack.  He also has a few novelty flags, the skull and cross bones is raised when the grandchildren visit and a father christmas is on hand for the festive season.

Flagdaddy  flies flags on request for friends and neighbours.  When the girl across the road married her  French boyfriend the French and English flags were flown.  When next door's daughter visited from USA the Stars and Stripes was hoisted.

Flagdaddy's hobby has generated community spirit as lots of people stop and ask about the flag of the day.  The local postman always asks for details of the flag and gives the name out with the daily post.   Flagdaddy has become a local celebrity.
