This site is dedicated to our dad who has a flag pole in his garden and an enormous collection of flags which he flies on a daily basis.

He has gained celebrity status in his neighbourhood and as such it seems only right to let the whole world know about him.

This site includes a gallery showing some of the flags that Flagdaddy flies, along with a flag quiz to test your knowledge of flags.

The site is intended as a bit of fun and we hope that you will enjoy it.

News Headline - Flags used to warn motorists - 21 June 2006

The DVLA has announced a new initiative to provide a visible warning system to motorists.

Drivers of low intellect/poor driving ability are to fly white flags with a red cross on them from their vehicles (generally fitted above one of the rear windows).  The flags look a little like England flags.

Drivers who are exceptionally bad are to indicate their poor skills to other motorists by flying an additional flag (usually one fitted to each side of the vehicle).
